Entry 002: Why I Bought a Used Bike

£2,000. Some scratches. No cruise control.

No TFT. No quick-shifter. No rider modes.

But it’s mine.

Shall I tell you some other things is doesn’t have?

No finance. No fear of mileage. No balloon payment.

No pressure to keep it clean for the next owner.

Because it’s mine, I ride it more.

I use it more.

I enjoy it more.

And that’s what bikes are for.
